Standard
Series:
Silberline
offers a variety of grades within the standard series used
almost exclusively for general industrial coating applications.
Grades such as Stamford Q, Stamford O, and Stamford N as well
as variations such as Extra Fine O, Extra Fine N, Superfine
N, and Superfine O are classified as Type IV non-leafing
aluminum pigments and have been used by formulators worldwide
to produce protective, metallic finishes.
"A"
Series:
The "A" series consists of several grades that are
non-acid resistant, can be used for coatings involving food
packaging and are classified as Type IV non-leafing
aluminum pigments. This series would include grades such as
A-1590FG, A-1592 FG, A-222FG, A-226, and A-2291FG.
Sparkle
Silver® Series Standard Non-Acid Resistant:
These revolutionary aluminum pigments were introduced in the
'70s. Bold new polychromatic effects became a dazzling reality
for coatings formulators. More Sparkle Silver® grades
are formulated in metallic coatings than any other class of
aluminum pigment throughout the world. Grades such as Sparkle
Silver® 2750, Sparkle Silver® 3500, Sparkle Silver® 3622, Sparkle Silver® 5500, and Sparkle Silver® 7500
are included in this family of aluminum pigments.
Aquasil® BP Series:
Silberline has specifically created Aquasil® BP
grades for aqueous architectural and industrial
coatings. This family offers a cost-effective alternative
for achieving stability and system compatibility with a broad
range of coating vehicles. This range of aluminum pigment
grades offers aesthetics to meet virtually any formulating
requirement.
SilBerCote™:
These specialty grades are bright, resin-treated, non-leafing
aluminum pigments. The resin treatment makes the pigment less
conductive in an electrostatic field, improves spray characteristics
and enhances acid and alkali staining resistance. These performance
characteristics provide superior performance for a variety
of applications, including general industrial and coil coating.
