COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY
We are committed to supporting a balanced environment by seeking sustainable solutions in all that we do. As aluminum pigment industry leaders in this area, our approach to sustainability extends across the entire company.
At a foundational level, we are evolving our technical platforms to increase production capacity and sales of sustainable product solutions, such as waterborne and powder coatings, and products absent of substances of concern, such as mineral oils.
In doing so, we are also proactively identifying and addressing both existing and anticipated regulatory changes to stay ahead of the curve.
Our commitment to sustainability also extends to a variety of other business processes, including reducing energy and water usage throughout all Silberline facilities. We are also reducing waste generation and VOC emissions, and implementing extensive recycling programs.

NEW WATERBORNE PLANT
The core of our sustainability initiative is our shift toward manufacturing sustainable product solutions. Silberline pioneered the use of waterborne coatings starting in 1994 and our commitment to producing these environmentally-friendly products will only grow.
Our new waterborne plant is currently under construction near our headquarters in Tamaqua, PA. Upon completion during the second half of 2021, Silberline will be the leading waterborne compatible aluminum pigment manufacturer in North America.
With the opening of our new waterborne plant, our enhanced global footprint will allow us to offer more sustainable solutions to meet customer needs, anywhere in the world.
