STARBRITE 4108-GPTA is a vacuum deposited aluminum pigment designed for UV curable inks and coatings. It provides a smooth, chrome metallic effect to deliver highly reflective, brilliant finishes. Product characteristics are listed below.

-Inhibited to help prevent premature curing and increase shelf life

STARBRITE 4108-GPTA is suitable for use in UV curable inks and coatings. Although STARBRITE® 4108-GPTA has been inhibited to avoid premature curing, it is important to assess the stability of STARBRITE® 4108-GPTA in specific ink and coating formulations.

STARBRITE products should be mixed thoroughly before incorporation to assure a homogenous mix of the pigment flakes throughout the dispersion. As with all aluminum pigments, excessive shear should not be used.

Aluminum pigment should be stored in the original shipping container and kept tightly sealed. Store containers in a cool, dry, well-ventilated, and properly rated area. Avoid any conditions that will suspend or float the particles in the air, creating a dust cloud. Avoid all possible sources of ignition.
